Topshop Unique.

London fashion week has been started. I am keeping my eyes on several designers. let's begin with this popular brit brand, topshop unique. The collection screams 70s with the atmosphere of luxurious. Anyhow, I just have a little gut feeling the hairdo is way Marc Jacobs? no? The prints are amazing with a great combination with those super high heels. ( Maybe it's great just for looking not wearing them.) There're so much inspirations in the collection,very british and of course not so much wearable.

Thais' time.

here comes the time of year again, Thailand's fashion season. Start with Elle fashion week. This event is going to be held from October 14 to 17 at CentralWorld. I can hardly wait to see what Thai designers have produced their winter collections. I missed this event last year because I was in the US,but this time hopefully I'll be avaiable for the coverage. NYFW S/S11

Seems like seasons go faster than ones even realize. New York spring 2011 collection kicked off last week with numbers of designer,models, marching down the runways. For the most exciting annual fashion event, this season we sadly say goodbye to the exotic tents at Bryant park and say hello hello to the new venue at the fasinated uptown Lincoln center. Even the shows are likely to spread out over the city, but most of the major designers chose to show their collections in the tents at Lincoln center such as Anna Sui, Tommy Hilfiger.

I can remember the first time I ever set my feet on the steps at bryant park's tents last season. It was the most memorable moment for me,and I assume that also for everyone who addicts to fashion too,no? let say, I was invited to see the show from Academy of Art University. The shows from the graduated students were great.

Move on to this season, I was impressed by a bunch of designers. I personally like New York's more than other 3 cities because in my opinion I think American designers can make a very wearable clothes,modern ubanish,and easy to wear. it doesn't mean that I don't like London,Milan,Paris. I obviously have a heart for several designers in the other cities. New York has its energy,vibe,and everything is just right.

For the next spring in NYC, White seems to be a number one hit on the runway, as you can see from Thakoon,Alexander Wang, and Altuzarra. Snake skin are also used in Altuzarra's collection. I actually like his combination with those leathers. White is always a elegant color and can pair with many many colors, but somehow white is a color that needs to be taking care of.

sweet&lowdown

I just woke up from my cat-nap in the afternoon. Today is such a laid-back day for me because there is not much going on and It was also raining when I was taking a nap. haha I wish for it. Bangkok is now back with traffic and cars after long weekend vacation. I actually like those times when people go back to visit their hometowns and leave Bangkok so peaceful.

As I went to the Rabbit photo exhibition at Mob F, Siam Center. I personally like Tada's works, his photographs tell the stories about the beautiful of youth as you can actually see on his works.

I actually got his photobook signed by Tada himself. <333

my drug.

I am now in loveeeeeeeeeeeee with this band from New York. Their album was released on June 28th. The music is just awesome and very gay thrilled. haha My favorite song in this album is Night work, but I can't stop listening to this song that I'm about to post. This is my drug.

BKK shouts for the art exhibitions.

As everybody knows that Bangkok is a city that filled with arts and cultures. I just got the recent information about the art exhibitions that will be shown around BKK area during this time. Me,myself love to visit art gallery and museum a lot as back when I was in NYC. There're thousand of art galleries spread out over 5 boroughs, but I personally like to take a look in SoHo or Williamsburg. Now I'm back to Bangkok and I just feel like I'm hungry for art, so these exhibitions might help either me or anyone who is craving for it.

I am going to start with the Art Republic gallery exhibition called "the Reality of Abstraction" This is the solo exhibition by Ann Leveque from July 29th until August 30th. I am going to view the exhibition tomorrow,and I will update what it looks like. Moreover, there is also a photo exhibition called "Bangkok photo tales. This is not just a exhibition full with Bangkok photographs, the difference is the person that took the picture has to be in the shot also. A collection of more than 70 pictures with 35 photographers will be open until August 30th at Foto United Galleria, 519 Phra Sumen Road. Free admission. Sirivannavari Maison

Good afternoon from Bangkok. I am currently writing this blog in True Coffee at Siam Paragon. This is my new favorite place to hang out even with friends or by myself. Today, when I was walking in M level, something caught my eyes. There is a new boutique recently open in front of D&G shop known as Sirivannavari Maison, a small home collection store which owns by HRH princess Sirivannavari Narirattana. The store presents the various types of the modern home decorative items and also the fragrance, which is very desirable. I actually went into the store and found out that the collection is mainly based on the sense of romance and elegance. There will be the official opening ceremony on August the 3rd by the princess herself at the store. Please be sure to visit when you come to Siam Paragon.

back to Bangkok

I have been back for almost 3 weeks. No updated so far. I don't know what to start my journal today though. haha. It was 26 hours on the plane and my legs were killing me so bad that day. I landed Bangkok at about 30 minutes untill 11pm. Bangkok is very very hot and humid right now because It's still in rainy season. I haven't decided what I want to do yet. I just need a little more time to think and make a right decision for my future. As of right now, I just staying home,reading books, and hanging out with friends. I think my life would never be this easy. ;)

I got tons of things to update into my brain. My internet was messed up for a week and my life also shut down. I recently saw pictures of Theatre, a Thai clothing brand, released their resort collection which I really like it. This collection represents the feeling of romantic,erotic, along with graphic,floral pattern, and the brand signature dots pattern. I will upload the pictures below.

Also, there will be a photo exhibition of a Thai photographer named Tada Varich. This exhibition is known as "RABBIT" which will be held from July 23rd until August 8th. I will probably be attending the grand opening tomorrow, so pictures will be provided later.

It is almost 4.30am in the morning, I guess I should have gone to sleep before the dawn. And as I said, Here are some picture from Theatre Resort collection. Thanks to Thaicatwalk.com for the great updates and pictures.

My works from studio art class during my senior year in high school. I have selected only pieces that I considered that are good(?). I have never thought that one day I will be interested in drawing by myself because I just love to look at other artists' works, so this was my first studio class that I had taken. I will miss this class alot.
